What we collect

When you book or request a quote, we collect your name, email, phone number, event address, event details, and anything you tell us in the notes field.

How we use it

Only to run your event: confirming details, emailing (or, on event day, calling) you about your booking, delivering and setting up, and sending your booking confirmation. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without asking.

If you check the text-alert box, we keep your number, first name, what you're interested in, and the exact consent wording you agreed to, and use them only to text you about open dates and specials (up to 4 messages a month). Reply STOP anytime and we won't text you again.

Text messages (SMS)

Opting in. We only text people who ask us to. You opt in by ticking the text-alert box on our home page and giving us your mobile number. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of booking or buying anything from us.

What we send. Occasional messages about open dates and specials from South River Outdoor Cinema — up to 4 messages a month. We also text about a booking you've already made, such as confirming timing on event day.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message and we'll stop texting you. You'll get one confirmation that you've been unsubscribed, and nothing after that.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share your number. Mobile information gathered for text messaging — including your phone number and your consent — is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts, solely so the message can be sent to you.

Payments

Deposits are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our site. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by its own privacy policy.

Where it's stored

Booking records are stored with our website provider and kept as long as needed for your event, taxes, and our records.
